An award ceremony for those who can ask as many people to vote for them to win the award – Online Filmykhabar Award 2071 was held in Kathmandu today. The award is organized by filmykhabar.com where you can vote for your favorite movie or artists.

Anyways, here are the winners of OFA 2071:

Another Nepali movie in the track of ATM ?

We have received a small clip of the shooting of an upcoming movie ‘Fight Club’. The clip shows the actor grabbing the actress inappropriately. The actress doesn’t respond to the action of the actor.

The movie ‘ATM‘ also featured similar scenes and a lot of vulgar dialogues. We have no idea if the movie also have other sex scenes and vulgar dialogues, the scene in the video clip is similar to the one seen between actress Jiya KC and the producer/actor Dinesh Sharma. In this case, the name of the actress is not known.

Gore to feature Dilip Rayamajhi and Anu Shah, shooting starts

The shooting of upcoming movie featuring Dilip Rayamajhi and Anu Shah in leading roles, ‘Gore’ has started in Kathamndu. After the inauguration ceremony held at Bhadrakali the shooting team headed towards the shooting locations.

The movie produced by Surya GC is being directed by Ramesh Kumar Rai. The movie will feature Dilip as Gore from a village who goes to the city in search of his girlfriend. It is termed as a suspense thriller story movie.

Harshika Shrestha broke one of her legs during shooting

While shooting in director Rishi Neupane‘s upcoming movie ‘Khatarnak’, actress Harshika Shrestha has broken one of her legs. The actress shooting in an action scene in the movie sustained the injury on her right leg.

It is suspected that the shooting being done in locations in Narayangadh and Hetauda are done in very unsafe condition. That is because, it wasn’t the first time the actress was injured. We believe, concerned authorities should investigate on the safety measures being implemented at the sets of the movie.

The President invites and congratulates Grima Pant for winning Best Actress Award

The ‘Jhol’ film actress Garima Pant became one of the best actress in SAARC region after winning the Best Actress award at SAARC Film Festival held in Sri Lanka. The President Ram Baran Yadav welcomed Garima at his residence Shital Niwas to congratulate the actress for winning the award.

Garima had gone to the President’s residence with the journalists. In the meeting the President congratulated Garima and told that she has made us proud. In response, Garima told that it was a very good opportunity for her. She also promised to do better in coming days.

Rajesh Hamal, first interview after marriage

After getting married to Madhu Bhattarai last month, Rajesh Hamal talked for the first time to Kantipur’s Movers & Shakers. Samriddhi Rai took the interview in which she asked about his love life, career and future.

The interview published in M&S of Kathmandu Post was taken right before he flew to Australia to participate in the cultural program and the celebration of his birthday on May 30. In Australia he was also honored for his 20-years-long contribution to the Nepali film industry.

Friday Release, Miss Nepal the only Nepali movie in theater

Unlike other Fridays, there are no new releases this Friday. The movie released last week in theaters out of Kathmandu, ‘Miss Nepal’ has released in the theaters in Kathmandu this week.

The movie directed by Surendra Tuladhar features the producer of the movie Suvekshya Thapa in leading role. With, Sabin Shrestha and Kshitiza Shakya are also in lead roles in the movie.

A young and skilled dancer, Teriya Phouja Magar has arrived in Kathmandu to go to her hometown Butwal, Nepal after making super performance in Indian dance show Dance India Dance Li’l Masters. Teriya looked very happy on the warm reception she got from her well wishers and fans.

Are Jiya KC and Bhuwan KC living together?

In a latest rumor, actress Jiya KC and actor Bhuwan KC are living together in Bhuwan’s home. The rumor started when the participants of an audition, held in Bhuwan’s home, saw them together.

According to the artists who had gone to Bhuwan’s home for the audition of his next movie ‘Dream Girl,’ they had seen Jiya KC in more than one occasions. They also claim seeing Jiya in pajamas. It is believed, Jiya has been living in Bhuwan’s house for the last few months.

In an event organized by Nepali Touch Events, Nepali superstar Rajesh Hamal was honored for his 25-years-long contribution to Nepali cinema. At that time, Hamal’s 50th birthday was also celebrated. The participants of the program wished best wishes to the superstar for his birthday.
