The director of upcoming movie ‘Kohinoor’, Aakash Adhikari cried during a press meet to talk about the movie. He couldn’t control himself when he remembered the producer and the lead actor of the movie Shree Krishna Shrestha, who fell sick in his honeymoon.

Actress Priyanka Karki has written a long letter to the Film Journalist Association (FJAN) in response to the issue raised by a wardrobe malfunction during the success party of ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’. A journalist had lodged a complaint against the actress of her accusation that the journalist had actually photoshoped to highlight glimpse of underwear. She also told that she was wearing a dark colored underwear, not the one shown in the photo.
In the response letter she admitted that it might be the part of the t-shirt she had tucked. But, the main point is that the issue had caused her problems not the journalists. So, it is unfair to accuse her for what had happened unknowingly.
Actress Sushma Karki has made a comeback in entertainment industry in a double meaning teej song about itch on her back. The comedy actors of ‘Bhadragol‘ – Kumar Kattel (Sitaram Kattel‘s younger brother), Sagar Lamsal and Hari Niraula are also featured in comedy roles in the song.
Sushma is featured in revealing dress in the song about itch in the back and the request to help relieve the itch. When the comedy actor Kumar Kattel offers to help her, she replied that it was only for the song.

Like every other fields, film writing in Nepali film industry is also dominated by males. Only a few writers are female. When the script writing is done by the wife of the director or the producer of the movie, question arises how genuine the writer is. For example, wife of noted director Sambhu Pradhan’s wife Nutan Pradhan and actor and producer Bhuwan KC‘s ex-wife Sushmita KC have also written scripts.
Actress Arunima Lamsal wrote the script of ‘Deepsikha‘. When the movie failed to impress audience, Arunima’s career as a writer is considered to have ended. Another writer, Kusum Anshal is also known to write the script of a movie made jointly by Nepal and India – ‘Panchawati’. Last year, actress Benisha Hamal had told about writing the script of a movie but, nothing is heard about that again.
In a latest report, director Shyam Bhattarai is teaming with Rekha Thapa‘s ex-husband Chhabi Raj Ojha to produce the hit movie ‘Lanka’ sequel. Both Chhabi and Shyam had been the victim of being stepping stones on the success of the top actress in the Nepali film industry.
Shyam and Chhabi have reportedly signed an agreement to take ‘Lanka 2’ to floor after Tihar. In the report, there is a high chance that Shilpa Pokharel will be featured in the lead role in the movie. We suspect, Shilpa’s future will be determined when her debut movie ‘Lazza’ releases in Tihar.
In the announcement of the release of upcoming movie, ‘Mero Valentine’ actress Nisha Adhikari explains why the movie is bound to be successful. She was talking in a press meet program held on July 22.

In the address to the journalists Nisha told that this movie has given a feeling that it would be as successful as her previous movie ‘First Love’. Nisha told she editors have ruthlessly removed the unnecessary scenes. Nisha compared the movie with ‘Soongava’ in which only the appropriate scenes were included in the movie. The film team had also taken extra footage to add for making some of the scenes interesting.
Right after the release of the photo of actress Priyanka Karki during the celebration of the success of ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’, Priyanka accused journalists of manipulating the photo.
The wardrobe malfunction photo shows the peak of undergarment of the actress under her skirt. In the facebook post Priyanka claimed to have worn a different colored undergarment and accused the photographer of creating the fake image.
But, Priyanka deleted the status after a while. One journalist has saved the status and has accused Priyanka of wrongdoing to the journalists. In a complaint lodged against the actress, Jiwan Kumar Parajuli, has asked the Film Journalist Association to punish the actress for wrong accusation to the journalist.
New married actor Shree Krishna Shrestha has fallen sick on his honeymoon in India. In a message posted by his wife actress Sweta Khadka, Shree Krishna is having dry cough and doctors have asked him not to speak much.
Shree Krishna was a little sick on the day of the marriage. He was having the problem with cough for about a month. The doctors had also suggested him to reduce his weight. At the time of his marriage he had reduced his weight from 78 kg to 71 kg.

The entry of female directors in Nepali film industry is very limited. There are two ways a director can start directing movies – one by working as an assistant director to an established director, two by completing direction studies. The entry of female directors in Nepali film industry is mostly by the second path. None of the female assistant directors so far have become a directors in Nepali film industry.

None of these directors have directed more than one movies yet. This statement is no longer true. Dipa Basnet’s second movie ‘Shree 5 Ambare’ is already released and Samjhana Upreti’s second movie, ‘Falgu’ is in post production.

Actress Priyanka Karki was scheduled to participate in Mr. and Miss Nepal Australia but, she couldn’t go there when she lost her bag with her passport in it in Malaysia. Priyanka Karki was invited as the chief guest in the beauty contest. Priyanka’s plan was to fly to Australia from Malaysia.
In another report, Priyanka has told that she missed the flight to Australia because of the accident of the Malaysian airlines over Ukraine. The Malaysia Airline civilian Flight MH 17 met with a crash on July 17. She had told that she received a temporary passport at the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia after she lost the original.
The contest in Australia selected Aarzoo Karki the Miss Nepal Australia 2014 and Anupam Kiran the Mr Nepal Australia 2014 on July 19.
The sons of MaHa – Mohit Bansha Acharya and Yaman Shrestha (MoYa) are going to be featured together on stage for the first time in their lives. The comedy program to start from Monday, “MaHa Jatra” will feature Mohit and Yaman on the same stage.
Although they will share the stage, the presentation however are separate. Both Mohit and Yaman have presented their talents in stage but, this is the first time they will show in the same stage on the same day. Yaman is a singer who will present a comedy song in the show and Mohit will act with MaHa.

Talking for the first time on camera after numerous incidents with her ex-boyfriend, actress Sushma Karki has told that they had broken-up a month ago. She has opened up her mouth after the latest incident between the two in a restaurant in Kathmandu. She has told that they won’t patch up again.
In the interview, Sushma said that she has now realized how bad Niran was to her and her career. She accused Niran to be the reason behind the downturn of her acting and entertainment career.
Now it is official, actress Sushma Karki and music artist Niran Shrestha have finally broken up for the second time. That happened in Best Food Café in Putalisadak when the issue between them became physical.
The relationship started towards the end of 2012 and they broke up within a year of the relationship. They had recently patched up and had started living together again. They had also invested in a restaurant. Sushma also celebrated her birthday in the restaurant. When the business didn’t go as expected, they sold it and went in a tour together. While in the tour, Niran had beaten Sushma while in back-stage in a cultural show in Dharan. Like the previous one, the second teremm of their relationship also didn’t last a year.
It is no secret that FIFA World Cup is the most popular sporting event in Nepal and we can see interesting craze of the game among Nepali celebrities. The final of the World Cup between Argentina and Germany starts in few hours and Nepali artists have finished the preparation to watch the game at their favorite locations.

A model and actress, Prakriti Shrestha, ahs also married a while earlier with an Australia resident Nepali, Sudeep Neupane. Prakriti acted in ‘Hostel‘ and has also modeled in few music videos.
The media wasn’t made aware of the date and the details of the marriage ceremony. The secret nature of the marriage is believed to be an indication that the actress is not interested in continuing her acting career.
