The ‘Jhol’ film actress Garima Pant became one of the best actress in SAARC region after winning the Best Actress award at SAARC Film Festival held in Sri Lanka. The President Ram Baran Yadav welcomed Garima at his residence Shital Niwas to congratulate the actress for winning the award.
Garima had gone to the President’s residence with the journalists. In the meeting the President congratulated Garima and told that she has made us proud. In response, Garima told that it was a very good opportunity for her. She also promised to do better in coming days.
After getting married to Madhu Bhattarai last month, Rajesh Hamal talked for the first time to Kantipur’s Movers & Shakers. Samriddhi Rai took the interview in which she asked about his love life, career and future.
The interview published in M&S of Kathmandu Post was taken right before he flew to Australia to participate in the cultural program and the celebration of his birthday on May 30. In Australia he was also honored for his 20-years-long contribution to the Nepali film industry.

A young and skilled dancer, Teriya Phouja Magar has arrived in Kathmandu to go to her hometown Butwal, Nepal after making super performance in Indian dance show Dance India Dance Li’l Masters. Teriya looked very happy on the warm reception she got from her well wishers and fans.

In a latest rumor, actress Jiya KC and actor Bhuwan KC are living together in Bhuwan’s home. The rumor started when the participants of an audition, held in Bhuwan’s home, saw them together.
According to the artists who had gone to Bhuwan’s home for the audition of his next movie ‘Dream Girl,’ they had seen Jiya KC in more than one occasions. They also claim seeing Jiya in pajamas. It is believed, Jiya has been living in Bhuwan’s house for the last few months.
In an event organized by Nepali Touch Events, Nepali superstar Rajesh Hamal was honored for his 25-years-long contribution to Nepali cinema. At that time, Hamal’s 50th birthday was also celebrated. The participants of the program wished best wishes to the superstar for his birthday.

Shankar has a family of his own in Nepal and it was the third marriage of Nisha.
The marriage doesn’t make much as Shankar is living in Nepal and Nisha living in USA. A month after the birth of the child, Nisha has started working in a restaurant in the USA.
A fashion house run by a notable fashion designer of Nepali film industry, Neelima, has be reopened on 30th May 2014, Friday at Alfa Beta Complex, New Baneshwor. The chief guest of the ceremony, Karishma Manandhar inaugurated the store by cutting a specially designed cake.
Speaking at the event, Neelima told that she wanted to make the event different by cutting a cake to inaugurate the store instead of cutting a ribbon. Here is a short video clip of of the event.
US actress and singer Selena Gomez went to Nepal representing UN Children’s Fund, UNICEF. She went to remote places in Nepal, but the visit was kept a secret. After returning from Nepal Gomez said, “Visit was extraordinary Powerful, heartbreaking. When you see children under the poverty you know how it is possible that they can be deprived of their basic needs.”
Actress Richa Ghimire and director Shankar Ghimire have become the proud parents of a newborn boy while living in the USA. The couple with their toddler son arrived in USA via Canada to show their movie ‘Tulsi’ and have remained there for some time.

The baby was born at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center on May 27, 2014 and was named Maharshi Ghimire. Naming of his big brother, Mizas, took the Ghimire couple months of searching.

The program is scheduled to mark the birthday of British queen Elizabeth II. In the program, Rajesh Hamal will talk about his 25-years-long history in Nepali film industry. In addition to that Rajesh will also deliver some dialogues and dances in the program. In organizers will also celebrate the birthday of Rajesh Hamal.
A day after the marriage and Suhagrat in a resort in Dhulikhel, Rajesh Hamal and his newly married wife, Madhu Bhattarai went to their ancestral home at Nawalparasi. The couple took a Buddha Air flight from Kathamndu to Chitwan and drove to their home in their car. In Nepali culture, a newly married wife enters the house after performing certain ritual. Rajesh performed such rituals at his home before taking his wife inside. A priest, Bishownath Gyawali performed the rituals before Madhu entered Rajesh’s ancestral home.
Rajesh told that he wanted Madhu to first enter his home in Nawalparasi before they start to live in their home in Kathmandu. In Kathmandu Hamal lives in a house in Kapurdhara, Kathmandu. There were no decorations or any signs of marriage in his Kathmandu residence.
