Bhuwan KC son getting married in the USA

The son of actor Bhuwan KC from his first wife, Bijaya KC, Vivek KC is getting married in the USA. Bhuwan is flying to the USA to attend the marriage ceremony to be held on July 4. Bhuwan’s first wife Bijaya has been living in the USA for a long time. Vivek KC is marrying another US resident girl, Natasha KC.

Bijaya and Bhuwan’s daughter Kajal KC was married in Nepal in 2011. The high profile marriage was attended by high level political leaders including the ex-king Gyanendra. Bhuwan had named his production company Kajal Films after his daughter.

Film Artists Association honor Garima Pant and Joes Pandey

To honor and appreciate the success of ‘Jhola’ actress Garima Pant and ‘Sanghuro’ director Joes Pandey, Nepal Film Artists Association organized a program on June 23. In the program, the artists were honored by Special Honor Certificate.

Talking at the ceremony Garima Pant and Joes Pandey appreciated the honor provided by the organization. Garima told that the award she and Joes got was actually an award for the entire film industry. She said, the award has proven that our film industry is of international standard. She also appreciated the help of actress Laxmi Giri during the shooting of the movie.

After getting married, Rajesh Hamal was pretty busy in programs in Australia and now, he had found time to spend quality time with his new wife, Madhu Bhattarai.

The new couple has headed towards the beautiful city, Pokhara on Tuesday, June 24. Hamal also shared a selfie of the two in the airplane in his Facebook.

Nepali cricket player Sharad Vesawkar is the the talk of the town for his relationship with the actress Nisha Adhikari. These days, they are usually seen together in public functions. That is not all, Nisha even showed off a love-bite in a public function.

Vesawkar has told that he had known Nisha for the last 10 years and they are good friends. He says, their nearness is because of the friendship. Sharad also added, he likes Nepali movies and asked not to make up stories of his relationship with Nisha. Nisha hasn’t talked about Sharad yet.

A NGO that fights against child marriage and dowry system, BHORE, has appointed actress Garima Pant and Dr. CK Singh its Goodwill Ambassadors. Pant is currently working in a movie ‘Udaharan’, a movie to advocate empowering women and girl children.

As ambassadors, the actors will initiate campaign through interviews, press conferences and other similar campaigns.

Teriya Magar won the DID L’il Master, Season 3 title

In the final held on June 21 in Zee TV, 11-years old Nepali dancer Teriya Magar has become the DID L’il Master Season 3.

There were 40,000 applicants in the dance reality show in Zee TV. In the contest that run till the mid-night in Pune, India Teriya was awarded with Rs. 1 million cash and a car. Teriya’s father, who works in Dubai, had also taken an emergency leave to be present at the contest.

Actress Richa Singh Thakuri has married Australian NRN Gajendra Thapa in an event held in Kathmandu on June 20, 2014 (as announced earlier). This is one more marriage of a Nepali celebrity in a long list of the marriages of celebrities this year.

A resident of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Gajendra had directed a music video featuring Richa Singh Thakuri in the start of 2013. The debut music video of Gajendra titled ‘Ko ho Timi …’ is considered the seed to germinate the love between Richa and Gajendra. Gajendra is a brother of Dhirendra Raj Thapa (‘Dhuwani’ fame).

It is no secret that actress Sushma Karki is living with her boyfriend Niran. According to a latest incident, they don’t seem to be happy with each other.

While in a program in East Nepal, Niran had beaten Sushma Karki at backstage. The issue got so big that police had to intervene in solving the case. The reason for the issue is yet to be known.

They are not only boyfriend and girlfriend but, they are also business partner in a restaurant. Sushma and Naren had celebrated Sushma’s birthday in their restaurant. It has been less than a year since they had patched up after a bitter misunderstanding and separation last year. At that time, their affair was less than a year long.

Harshika Shrestha participated in Mukhauta premier in spite of broken leg

Although actress Harshika Shrestha was injured during a shooting, and has a cast on one of her feet, she went to watch her movie ‘Mukhauta’ in the premier show held at Kumari hall on Thursday. Harshika was appreciated for the role she did in the movie.

Harishika broke her leg while shooting a movie named ‘Khatarnak’. The doctor had asked her to take a 3-weeks-long bed rest. Multi starrer movie ‘Mukauta’ also features Nisha Adhikari and a score of the top actors of Nepali film industry.

Harshika Shrestha broke one of her legs during shooting

While shooting in director Rishi Neupane‘s upcoming movie ‘Khatarnak’, actress Harshika Shrestha has broken one of her legs. The actress shooting in an action scene in the movie sustained the injury on her right leg.

It is suspected that the shooting being done in locations in Narayangadh and Hetauda are done in very unsafe condition. That is because, it wasn’t the first time the actress was injured. We believe, concerned authorities should investigate on the safety measures being implemented at the sets of the movie.
