Rang press meet main attraction Karishma in a short dress

The movie produced by MR Films Production, ‘Rang’ is going to be released on February 15, 2013. The release date of the debut movie of the long time assistant of actor , Roshan Thakuri, was announced by organizing a press meet on February 12 in Kathmandu. One of the main attraction of the event was actress Karishma Manandhar, in a short one piece. Although she didn’t flash her underwear in this event, Karishma is known for showing her underwear in more than one events in the past.

Rekha Thapa with US scarf, Nepali flag and the love of nation

After reaching the USA, Rekha Thapa had posted a few photos of hers on Facebook, wearing a scarf with UK/US flag printed on it. Some journalists had criticized Rekha for wearing such a scarf and accused her of embracing foreign lifestyle. Such an accusations have hurt Rekha’s sentiment and she told us, “I Love my country Nepal for ever.”

Hurt by the media report, she wore a Nepali flag on her chest. But, to her dismay, nobody noticed the photo and there were no report about Rekha’s love for her nation.

Anup Baral to debut film direction in ‘Fitkiri’

Actor and director Anup Baral is debuting in movie direction after directing more than 50 plays. Anup Baral’s first movie ‘Fitkiri’ is scheduled to start in by the end of February.

Anup Baral started acting in theater at the age of 14 and is known as the guru of well known actors like Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, and Diya Maskey. Other well known actors who took training from Anup Baral are Raj Ballav Koirala, Usha Rajak, and Sarita Giri.

Sabina Karki and Soniya Sharma go sober in ‘Chhal’

The controversial actresses from the banned movie ‘ATM‘ Sabina Karki and Sonia Sharma are being featured in director Shiva Ghimire’s upcoming movie ‘Chhal’. Popular for delivering vulgar dialogues and hot scenes in ‘ATM’ three actresses of the movie Sabina, Soniya and Jiya KC were highly criticized. Although Sabina and Soniya have learnt the lesson from ATM, Jiya is going in the same path of showcasing her body instead of her acting talent.

In their roles in ‘Chhal’ Soniya and Sabina are likely to be featured in sober roles. The movie is made on clashes between two gangs in a city and Sabina is featured as one of the gang leaders.

Rekha Thapa explains why she is not uneducated

Actress Rekha Thapa had wanted to head the Nepal Film Development Board (FDB), but her peers had rejected Rekha for not being competent enough. In response to her rejection, Rekha had organized the meet the press event in New York during her month-long visit to USA.

Rekha Thapa had stopped her education after SLC and she didn’t go to college. In the meet-the-press event held in New York, she told that some people call her ‘uneducated’ because of the lack of higher education. She added – those who call her uneducated are fool themselves. She called herself a knowledgeable and capable person in her profession.

Artists reached to an agreement with the govt.

The government has agreed to the 8-points demands of the protesting artists. In a meeting held a the ministry with the secretary and Dharmendra Marbaita (Pappu) the two parties had reached to the agreement.

The government has given word to comply with the 8-points demands of the protesting artists. In return, the protesting artists will allow Pappu to let him work in FDB.

The hunger strike is going to end today after signing the agreement.
