UPDATE: Dashain has finished today. I collected 100s of photos of celebrities. But, posting them in the page would not be that much interesting to the most of the site visitors. So, I collected the photos of 40+ Nepali actress celebrating Dashain this year and prepared a video (I deleted the video – nobody watched it).
I also prepared a video about the fist Dashain of two Miss Nepal sons. In addition to the sons of Jharana Bajracharya and Malvika Subba, the daughter of actress Richa Ghimire also celebrated her Dashain for the first time in her life.
It seems, Bhuwan KC has already married actress Jiya KC. By the way, Jiya was posing in a photo between Bhuwan’s mother and father with Bhuwan KC and Anmol KC by the side, it seems she was a part of the family.

Bhuwan KC and Jiya KC love story
The rumour of the affair between Bhuwan KC and Jiya KC started in 2012.
In 2012 there were reports of:
Bhuwan KC visiting ‘ATM’ shooting sets to meet Jiya.
They were also spotted together in restaurants.
In one interview, Jiya had also admitted going to Bhuwan KC’s home and staying there for a night.
Jiya had told that she would love to marry Bhuwan KC.
But, both of them had told that they were only friends and they didn’t have an affair (and they continued to say that till now).

About ‘Bindaas 3’
This is the third sequel of Nepali movie ‘Bindaas’. The movie made on sex theme featured actress Sushma Karki in the first and the second sequel. In the third sequel Suvekshya Thapa replaced Sushma Karki. Although the movie was made into three sequels, none of the movie were successful commercially and the review of xnepali reviewer wasn’t that good either. The initial comments in the video are not good. The movie is a Raju Giri Production & Shuvechchha Entertainment presentation featuring the music of Arjun Pokharel, editing and cinematography by Basu Baral.
Actress Sweta Khadka has celebrated Dashain after two years. Before going to her parent’s home, Shweta had taken Dashain tika at her home (Shree Krishna’s home). She took Dashain Tika from her parents for the first time after the death of her husband, actor Shree Krishna Shrestha in 2014. Shweta’s 93-years-old father gave blessing to his daughter, ‘Always be strong, go forward and don’t ever bow low to others’.
In 2014 Shweta didn’t celebrate Dashain because of the death of Shree Krishna and in 2015 because of the death of Shree Krishna’s mother she didn’t take Dashain Tika. Continue reading
Nepali movie ‘Fanko’ is a presentation of HMMT by Padam Gurung. The multi-starrer movie produced by Narandra Maharjan and Shahadev Gautam features some of the most talented artists in the Nepali film industry. The music in the movie is composed by Chetan Sapkota. ‘Fanko’Â was released on January 15, 2016. Priyanka Karki’s transparent dress made news at the time of the premier of the movie.

The movie ‘Carreng Gang’ is a presentation of Raju Lama under Liza laxmi Movies banner.Raju Lama has written the story and the script of the movie. The fight directors of the action movie are Ram and Janak. This is the original Carrang Gang.
About ‘Carreng Gang 2’
The sequel ‘Carreng Gang 2’ is also presented by Raju Lama but under different banner LCRL Movie. Although the sequel ‘Carreng Gang 2’ is directed by Uday Subba, the story is written by Raju Lama himself. There were no well known actors in the original movie but, the sequel features well known artists like NIkhil Upreti, Arunima Lamsal and Sunil Thapa. The child artist in the movie is Aju Lama. Jharana Thapa is the guest artist in the movie. The movie features the lyrics by Dayaram Pandey, playback singing by Mausami Gurung, music by Deepak Raman, editing by Tara Thapa, background score by Roshan Lamichhane dialogue by Laxmi Khadka, cinematography by Yubraj Rai, and the action by Ram /Janak.
At the time of Dashain holiday, two new movies ‘Kismat 2’ and ‘Subba Saab’ are released in theatres on October 7, 2016. The movie ‘Kismat 2’ is a Chhabiraj Production movie – a sequel of a hit movie ‘Kismat’, but made in a new story. Another movie ‘Subba Saab’ is director Raju Adhikari’s presentation. These movies are released at the time ‘Chhaka Panja’ is keeping its holdover for a month.

The movie got a lot of media coverage because of the rumour of the marriage between Chhabi Raj Ojha and the actress Shilpa Pokharel. Similar rumour during the release of ‘Lazza’ had resulted in the success of the movie. It is to be seen if repeating similar rumour at the time of the release of another movie will be equally helpful. Dashain 2016 has already started on October 1, 2016. Although the schools and colleges have already closed for the festivals, the job holders have to wait a couple of days, until Friday for the holidays to start. Saturday – October 8 is Fulpati the seventh day of Dashain. After Fulpati, most of the offices will be closed till October 12, the last day of Dashain.
Being the biggest festival with longest holidays, Dashain is one of the most important festivals in Nepal. One of the most important aspect of the festival is swinging in different types of swings. Another important part is food and fighting kites (in Kathmandu). People make Dashain plans quite ahead of the festival. As an example, I have prepared a report on the plans of Nepali actresses Karishma Manandhar, Jharana Thapa, Sanchita Luitel, Neeta Dhungana, Rajani KC, Anu Shah and Mahima Silwal.

Deepak Shrestha’s movie ‘Majboor’ features Biraj Bhatt and the new entry actress, Anuska Dhakal in leading roles. “Majboor” is a typical masala movie containing all the ingredients that are liked by general movie goers. The movie features action, love, family drama, emotion and glamour all in one. Deepak Shrestha is known for directing masala movies and he has been pretty good in them.

UPDATE: Nisha is getting married on June 30, 2017, 4 months before she turns 31 years old.

But, in the current time, it is a common practice for the the guys and girls to select their own partners for marriage. Despite of this new trend, there are still marriages that are arranged by the parents and the relative. One such marriage is in making in the popular comedian Hari Bamsha Acharya’s home. His younger son Mohit Bamsha Acharya was engaged to Bindu Thapa in a ceremony held on October 1, 2016 in a resort in Dhulikhel.
