Malina Joshi denies affair with Anoop Bikram Shahi, The Winner first look released

The first look poster and a music video of an upcoming movie ‘The Winner’ was released in Kathmandu on May 1, 2016. The movie features actress Malina Joshi in the leading role. In the event, journalists had asked Malina about her love affair and her relationship with actor Anoop Bikram Shahi.

When the journalists ask Malina about her relationship, she was defensive and didn’t want to talk about it. As the event was for the movie not her personal life, she told so. About her relationship with Anoop Bikram Shahi, Malina told, “I had never talked about my love affairs with journalists. When I haven’t talked about falling in love, how can I talk about break ups.” When the journalists ask her about her relationship status, Malina replied, “Relationship status is a personal matter and I don’t want to talk about it.”

Madan Krishna Shrestha biography

The older of the two, Madan Krishna Shrestha is a trained singer.

Madan Krishna was born on Baishakh 7, 2007 BS  in Jitpur Phedi, Kathmandu to to father Ram Krishna Lal Shrestha and mother Laxmi Devi Shrestha. He married Yeshoda Shrestha at the age of 24. They have a son, Yaman Shrestha and a daughter, Shrana Shrestha.

Samragyee RL Shah to lead Summer Love, film to be made on Subin Bhattarai novel

The ‘Dreams’ actress, Samragyee RL Shah is going to be featured in a movie to be made on the story of the popular novel by writer Subin Bhattarai, ‘Summer Love’. The film to be named the same as the novel is going to be produced by the producer and director of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ sequels, Bikash Acharya. The movie is going to be directed by Muskan Dhakal, Acharya’s assistant in most of his movies. Muskan had also directed ‘Nai Na Bhannu La 3’.

RIP Thinley Lhondup, Caravan (Himalaya) actor died in Dolpa

The actor of a 1999 movie, ‘Himalaya’ (also known as Caravan) Thilen Lhondup (Thinley) has died in Dolpa after falling from a horse. The 72 years old actor was also undergoing treatment for stomach cancer.

The movie made on the lifestyle of Upper Dolpa area, ‘Himalaya’, directed by French director Eric Valli had been very popular in international film circle. The movie was also nominated in the Oscars.

Thilen had fallen from the horse while going to Chhipka from Dunai of Dolpa. A mule had kicked the horse causing the horse to fall with Thilen. The horse had died at the scene. A tourist saw wounded Thilen and had carried him to Chhipka. Thilen died at 5 PM, before he could be air lifted to Kathmandu for treatment.

Priyanka Karki superhit controversy, Bhalu Nabhannu La

Social network is a crowd of people. If you expect something from them, you are bound to be disappointed. The latest proof of that fact is the recent open letter of Nepali actress Priyanka Karki. Priyanka Karki has expressed her dissatisfaction on the comments she received in her social media pages.

Priyanka wrote, “Whenever I upload new picture, share new music videos or movie songs songs, why do you guys abuse me so much?” She tells, the people react as if she has hurt them or personally offended them. Nepal government hands over identity cards (Celebrity Cards) to senior film artists

In an effort to provide so-called ‘celebrity cards’ to the Nepali film makers, Nepal government has completed the first phase of the distribution of the identity cards to some of the senior-most film makers. In an event organized in Singh Durbar on April 18, 2016 minister Sher Dhan Rai handed over film artist cards to 13 senior most film artists. Video report:

Rekha Thapa stardom seen in RamPyari release

Although the reviews of Rekha Thapa‘s new release ‘Ram Pyari’ is nothing to be excited about, her star power is clearly seen in the theater. When Rekha visited the theaters to meet the viewers, the viewers were happy and excited to she her. Some viewers were so excited that they carried her and threw her in the air (see the following video for a small clip).

What do viewers say about Ram Pyari?

The initial review of the movie is not that good. One of the viewers told, “Apart from Rekha Thapa, there is nothing to watch it the movie.” He said, the movie is similar to her previous movies. Although the action is good, the story and the story telling style is same as her previous movies.

Miss Nepal 2016 is Asmi Shrestha (update with official video)

22 years old Asmi Shrestha of Kathmandu has won the Miss Nepal 2016 title this year. In an event held in Hotel Annapurna on April 8, 2016, Asmi was crowned the new Miss Nepal. Miss Nepal 2015, Evana Manandhar crowned Ashmi the new 2016 version of the crown.

One of the 19 contestants, Ashmi was the contestant number 11. The 5 feet and 6 inches tall beauty was also the winner of Face of Classic Diamond 2014.

What is the meaning of Sweta Khadka tattoo?

It is not a new thing that the smile has returned in actress Sweta Khadka‘s face. The only question now is when she is going to return as an actress. Sweta had gone through a long mourning period after the death of her husband Shree Krishna Shrestha. These days she says that the smile has returned to fulfill the dreams of Shree Krishna before his death.

During the press meet of ‘Ke Ma Timro Hoina Ra’, Sweta told that she is eager to make a comeback. That means the rumours of Sweta is working in a movie script is true.

Archana Paneru authorized to be an actress by the government, Jism approved by FDB

I am pretty sure, the story of Archana Paneru, her debut movie ‘Jism’ and the role of Film Development Board (FDB) and FDB Chief Raj Kumar Rai is much more interesting than the film itself.

The story goes like:

A controversial director, Raju Giri, met a much more controversial girl Archana Paneru. Giri and his team prepared a story around Archana and borrowed the name of the movie Bollywood actress Sunny Leone debuted in Bollywood with. Sunny debuted in ‘Jism 2’ and Archana is all set to debut in ‘Jism’. The script and the details of the movie was submitted to the government agency FDB for approval.

The news was shocking to many film industry insiders. At the same time, the hype of Archan was too good to ignore. Archana was invited to a meeting by some producers and directors. Right after the meeting, Archana named the producers who had asked for anonymity. Some named the incident, “playing with dirt,” it was bound to get you dirty.

Anmol KC birthday, Gajalu first look and Ma Ta Timrai Hoon release date announced

The first look poster of the fourth movie of Anmol KC, ‘Gajalu’ was released on his 22nd birthday, on March 29, 2016. On the same day, the release date of the movie produced by his mother under Anmol KC Films, was also announced. The movie titled ‘Ma Timrai Hoon’ will be released on July 22, 2016.

Archana Paneru movie Jism renamed Archana, Raju Giri admits mistakes

After a week long tussle, director Raju Giri has given up to he heavy weight government regulator – Film Development Board (FDB) and has admitted his mistakes. In a press meet organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday – March 30, 2016, Raju Giri had told that he had done a huge mistake of starting the shooting of the movie without first gaining the script approval from the Board. Reading a written statement, Raju Giri admitted of creating controversies for the promotion of the movies.
