Like previous years, the celebrities of Nepali film industry celebrated Holi festival in jolly mood. The festival of color was celebrated at various locations. Like every year, actress Karishma Manandhar had invited everybody to celebrate Holi at her residence. Last year, Karishma was busy in the shooting of ‘Fagu’ and couldn’t organize the festival at home.

The Bollywood film industry is considered one of the largest film industry in the world. The movie industry has gone worldwide because of the popularity of the movies. The opportunity to be a part of the film industry is very difficult. In such an environment, few Nepali artists have established themselves as credible artists. The lead actor of Bhuwan KC‘s debut movie ‘Dreams’,Â Anmol KC is the new sensation in the Nepali film industry. ‘Dreams’ proved to be the third super-hit movies of Anmol KC. He as become the rare actors whose movies have succeeded. Despite of his popularity, Anmol is considered weak in acting. In all of his movies, the actresses have done better acting, but no actress have been as popular as Anmol.

The questions arise – “What is in Anmol KC, that is not in Prakriti Shrestha and Anna Sharma?” and “Will the fate of ‘Dreams’ actress Samragyee RL Shah be similar to those of Prakriti and Anna?”

KP Oli at Khusbu Oli engagement, was he there because she is Chari’s ex ?

The girlfriend of the notorious don Dinesh Adhikari (Chari) is engaged to a UK resident Nepali, Santosh Karki. Miss Teen 2006, Khusbu’s boyfriend Chari was killed in a police encounter in August of 2014. In the engagement party held in Yak and Yeti Hotel, the prime minister KP Sharma Oli was also one of the guests. Until death, Chari was told to be under the protection of the CPN-UML leader and current prime minster KP Oli. There might be other relationships but, it seems the PM’s sympathy towards Khubsu might also be because was the girlfriend of the don under his protection.

Criminal Chari’s mentor, KP Sharma Oli

Don Chari was under the political protection, specially the current PM, KP Oli. Whenever he was arrested by the police, the police were forced to let him go because of the political pressure. Many believe, including Khusbu Oli, that the police had carefully planned the encounter with Chari so that he was killed before being captured. If he were only captured, there was a high probability that he wouldn’t have been locked-in because of the political protection.

Anmol KC bodyguard stunt and Dreams popularity

The movie released this Friday, ‘Dreams’ received a flock of viewers in it’s initial days. The crowd had been the result of the craze of the actor Anmol KC and the popularity of his father Bhuwan KC, who had debuted as a director in the movie. The movie released on the same day, ‘Fulai Fulko Mausam Timilai’ (FFMT) fell into the shadow of the popularity of ‘Dreams’. In latest reports, FFMT is recovering with positive feedbacks in later days.

Anmol KC’s visit to the theaters on Saturday also made news when he was escorted by his four private bodyguards and police officers. Although foreign artists are usually seen with bodyguards by their sides, the seen was new in the Nepali film industry. Similar crowd was seen when Nikhil Upreti visited theaters during ‘Bhairav’ release. Nikhil however didn’t have any bodyguards by his side.

Archana Paneru accuses director and producers of indecent approach

To be actress of Nepali film industry, Archana Paneru has accused film director and producers of indecent approach to her. She accused them of asking for sexual favor.

Archana is set to debut in Nepali film industry as an actress in Raju Giri‘s upcoming movie ‘Jism’. In an interview with an online media, Archana named four well known personalities of such an approach. She has accused well known director Simosh Sunuwar, producers Arjun Kumar, producer Madhav Wagle and producer Teken Khadka.

After marrying the chief of the authorized dealer of Samsung mobile in Nepal, Dikesh Malhotra, Zenisha Moktan has now become Zenisha Malhotra.

It is an usual practice in Nepal to change the last name to the wife, to the last name of the husband, after marriage. If Zenisha choses to go with the traditional practice, he will be named Zenisha Malhotra. But, these days, some women prefer to keep their maiden name along with the after-marriage last name. In that case, Zenisha will be named Zenisha Malhotra Moktan or Zenisha Moktan Malhotra. We will surely know the name Zenisha choses for herself in near future.

It is to be noted that Shilpa Pokahrel is featured the lead actress in Karishma’s last week release ‘Fagu’. Although, all the movies of Shilpa released so far are hit (both ‘Lazza’ and ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ were hit and ‘Fagu’ is doing well in theater) Karishma has placed her in the fifth place.

Nepal PM KP oli to meet Bollywood celebrities in Delhi

The prime minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to meet some well known Bollywood actors and producers in New Delhi. The meeting is being held in coordination with the Nepal Embassy in New Delhi with the help of Bollywood actress of Nepali origin, Manisha Koirala.

According to a report in the Times of India, Oli will meet actor Jackie Shroff, director Subash Ghai, producers and other well known Bollywood personalities.

Rekha Thapa Rampyari release preparation, will Chhabi Raj Ojha postpone Kismat 2?

New movies of Rekha Thapa and her ex-husband Chhabi Raj Ojha, ‘Rampyari’ and ‘Kismat 2’ are currently scheduled to release on the year end (on Chaitra 26). According to latest sightings, it is likely that Rekha might stick to that date and Chhabi might stay clear of the date. When asked to Chhabi, he denied such change in release date, but my analysis is different from what Chhabi has told.

The last release of the producer Chhabi Raj Ojha is ‘Hawaldar Suntali’, released in 2015. His next movie ‘Kismat 2’ is scheduled to release on April 8. Chhabi started film making with ‘Yug Dekhi Yug Samma’.

“Hawaldar Suntali” is a movie made on the story of Suntali Dhami, a police officer who was raped in her office by her co-workers. Three police officers were jailed in the case. The actress Shilpa Pokharel however had never met the real person whose character she was doing in the movie.

The movie ‘Lazza’ is accused of being a copy of a 2007 release Hindi movie ‘Laga Chunari Mein Daag’. Director Samjhana Upreti had made that accusation in a radio interview. Shilpa Pokharel, who had debuted in the movie was also with Samjhana at the time of the interview. Samjhan claimed that the movie was made on an original story.

Nepali artists welcome Team Nepal, Gold Medal winner at SAG Football

A huge crowd was gathered at the Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu to welcome the Gold Medal winner in Football at the 12th South Asian Game (SAG).Â The victory was the first in the last 23 years. The win was important after the police arrested various players accusing them of match fixing in various international games.

Among the public present at the airport to welcome the victorious Team Nepal, were some well known artists. Among the artists were Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Nirmal Sharma, Jitu Nepal, singers Pramod Kharel, singer Komal Oli, actress Chhulthim Gurung and Yuvaraj Chaulagain.

Team Nepal had won the final game against Indian team in the final of the football game in SAG. The team arrived in Tribhuvan Airport at 4:45 on Wednesday.

The employees of Airport authority had gone to the aircraft to welcome the victorious team. After the welcome ceremony, the team members were taken in an Army vehicle in a victory rally. The rally went from Tilganga Chowk, Gaushala, Rato Pul, Gyaneshowr, Kamal Pokhari and ended at the Dasarath stadium. A celebration program was held at the stadium.

In aÂ private event held on February 17, 2016, among his friends and family, Nischal has married and taken Swastima home.Â In the evening, a reception party was held to celebrate the marriage. The wedding was not a surprise event, as Swastima and Nischal were engaged in December, and the marriage was being planned since then. The news of their engagement however was a surprise event for many. The age difference between the bride and the groom was talked a lot at that time. 34-years old Nischal is 14 years older than is 20-years old wife.
