In an interview, actor Nikhil Upreti, has told that it was not only Sanchita Luitel he had affair with. Nikhil’s first marriage with Kopila Upreti was also a love marriage. After that he had affairs with different actresses. With Sanchita, he couldn’t leave her and married. The popular singer Anju Panta is good looking personality. Many film producers had approached Anju to feature in their movie int he last decade. Anju had however rejected all of those offers. Now, as she approaches in the 40s (Anju turned 39 a few months back), she had told that she might re-consider her decision not to act in movies. Anju’s condition of her acting debut is that, the story of the movie has to be based on her own life. Why did she change her mind? Here are the reasons:
Anju still doesn’t seem to be interested in acting in professional way. She wants to be act for fun and tell her own story. If it is just for fun, she should let the professional actor to do her role. That would be more professional and interesting to the viewers. She could always be featured in a guest’s role. “The Pursuit of Happyness” would be an example of what a biographical film could be.
Do you know who is most excited to win an award in an award ceremony?
The first time winners are the most excited and enthusiastic when an award is announced. But, when the winner of the Best Newcomer Award doesn’t show up in an award ceremony to receive the award, there is something seriously wrong. I don’t know if that had happened in the other award ceremonies as well but, I felt it odd when the winner of Best Newcomer award, Samragyee RL Shah, didn’t show up to receive the award in NFDC National Award ceremony, held recently.

I think, that was because, she had already won the award and there is no charm in winning more than one awards for the same movie and same role.
I wonder, how Namrata Shrestha could even feel happy – winning awards for the same thing – again and again, and again for the fifth time. Yes, she won Best Actress awards for the same role in ‘Classic’ – five different awards:
I am pretty sure she will win more awards in future. If I were her, after winning the Nation Award, from the President of Nepal, Bidhya Devi Bhandari, I wouldn’t have attended any other award ceremonies.

In the Nepali film award organized by Gopi Krishna Movies, the ‘Classic’ actors Namrata Shrestha and Aryan Sigdel were chosen the best actors. But, the winner of the best movie award was ‘Pashupati Prasad’. The Best director award went to Dinesh Raut, the director of ‘Classic’. The editor of ‘Classic’ Surendra Poudel also won the Best Editor award.

It seems, Chhabi is planning to produce the sequels of all the hit movies made under Rekha Films. After the completion of the sequel of ‘Kismat’, ‘Kismat 2’, Chhabi and Shilpa are busy in the preparation of another sequel ‘Hifajat 2’.

The movie ‘Hifajat’ was released in 2010. The movie had gone through a few controversies including the photo morphing in the poster and wearing religious clothes in provocative manner. For the promotion of the movie, Rekha had told that she had prepared 30 mini-skirts for the movie. Rekha had used the miniskirt as the promotional stunt. It is a sad news that singer Sunil Bardewa had suddenly died at the age of 44 on September 13, 2016. Suffering from jaundice, Bardewa had died after he was rushed to the hospital after an emergency at home. 19 days ago, another singer, Khemraj Gurung had also died in similar health condition.

It is sad that the singers didn’t live their full life. An average lifespan of a Nepali is 69 years. Both Sunil Bardewa and Khemraj Gurung were in their early 40s, not a age to die. There are other singers who had died younger. I will discuss about some other singers who had died at a young age.

Actress Pooja Sharma has been kicked out of the hit movie ‘Premgeet’ in it’s sequel ‘Premgeet 2’. According to the latest report, Pooja will be replaced by a new actress Ashilsha Thakuri. While the actress will be replaced, the lead actor will be the same – Pradeep Khadka. It is an irony that, the news has surfaced a few days after the online-couple, Pooja Sharma and Pradeep Khadka had won the Best On-Screen Couple of the year award at the LG Film Award 2016.

The first female director of the Nepali movie industry, Suchitra Singh is going to direct a Hindi moive. In an event held in Kathmandu, the new Hindi movie named ‘Chakra’ was announced.
The director Suchitra Singh is making a comeback in directing movie after a long absence. The movie announced will be mostly shot in India and about one fourth of the shooting will be held in Nepal. In addition to some Nepali artists, most of the artists and technicians will also be Indian. In addition to being the director, Suchitra will also be the producer of the Rs. 120 million project.
In the announcement ceremony, Suchitra told that the movie was being planned for the last five years. The producer Anwar Raj and the story writer Shahi Kumar had discussed about the possibility of producing the movie. After five years, the movie production has been finally decided. The shooting of ‘Chakra’ is scheduled to start on Laxmi Puja. In addition to Suchitra, Rajesh Raj will also assist in the direction of the movie.

Actress turned – farmer, farmer turned student, student turned writer – Binita Baral has found a new boyfriend. The actress of the super hit movie ‘Chapali Height’, left the film industry to start organic farming after the failure of her second movie ‘Fullstop’. Last year, she got an opportunity to study in the USA and is living in Atlanta for the last one year.
Binita was recently back to Nepal to release her novel, ‘Junio’. The book received a wide publicity and was liked by the readers. During the launch of the book, she had revealed the breakup of her previous relationship and told that she is looking for a new relationship. And, she found a guy, also studying in the USA in a university in Ohio, Tilak Poudel. It’s about 10 hours of drive from the place Binita lives to the place Tilak lives. Tilak and Binita were together recently and they have decided to unveil their relationship status.

In a conversation with RJ Sabeena Karki, Nepali actor Rajesh Hamal has talked about his personal life and about his wife. Rajesh told his married life is going “fantastic” and he is very happy with his marriage. In the live interview was taken at Time Square in New York, Rajesh told that hew was confused if he should get married or not. He added, “Now, once I am married, I am very happy.”
